Lucy Axam is an independent British/Swiss designer of English mother tongue who also speaks fluent French. Her design style centres around happiness, comfort, harmony and balance. Capturing the essence of her client's character and using it to infuse their interiors is what makes each project as unique as they are.

She is passionate about the clever use of space through intelligent design, colour and texture choices and brings all these elements together to reflect her client’s tastes. She firmly believes that feeling wonderful in your environment is essential to your contentment and well-being. A welcoming home that reflects your personality is not a luxury but an extension of your very being.

I started my design career by studying graphic and media design at the London College of Communication. After graduating I worked for 12 years as an Art Director in the world famous advertising agency - Saatchi & Saatchi. In 2011 I decided to follow my life-long passion for interior design, studying with the KLC School of Design in London and with Jorge Canete.

Over the last years I have worked as a consultant on various interior design projects, designing both professional and personal spaces strictly adhering to my clients' desires, requirements and budgets. My experience as an Art Director not only evolved my creativity but also taught me how to fulfil a client brief, deliver on time, within budget and to ultimately satisfy my client's needs.

I have immersed myself in the world of interiors, launching my career with the objective of helping make people feel great about themselves in their homes – and have not looked back since. Please see a selection of my work under ‘WORKS’.

Welcome to my world!
