About Lucy Axam

I am an independent British/Swiss designer of English mother tongue who also speaks fluent French. My interior design style centres around comfort, harmony and balance while employing a versatile, client-led practice that transforms individual visions into refined, distinctive outcomes.

My goal is to truly distil each client's unique style and bring it to life in their living environment, making each project as unique as they are.

I am passionate about the clever use of space through intelligent design, colour and texture choices and I aim to bring all these elements together to reflect my client’s tastes. I firmly believe that feeling wonderful starts at home.

A welcoming space that reflects your personality is not a luxury but an extension of your very being.

Background

I did my schooling in the International School of Geneva and went on to do a BA in Graphic and Media design at the LCC in London. After graduating, I worked for 12 years as an Art Director at the advertising agency - Saatchi & Saatchi.

In 2011 I decided to follow my lifelong passion for interior design, studying at KLC School of Design in London as well as gleaning knowledge alongside expert designers running their own interior design practices.

For more then 12 years, I have worked as a consultant on many interior design projects, designing both professional and personal spaces, strictly adhering to my clients' desires, requirements and budgets. My experience as an Art Director not only developed my creativity but also taught me how to fulfil a client brief and ultimately satisfy my client's needs in their homes.

I have immersed myself in the world of interiors, launching my career with the objective of helping make people feel great in their homes. Welcome to my world!

    In another life Katie was a weapons inspector. That statement is not true but you would believe it by her attention to detail and quality control. Katie manages sourcing and logistics.

    She is a SKETCHUP and Autocad whizz. And just when you thought you knew everything about her, you discover she is also an amazing architectural photographer.

    Lucy loves immersing herself in your brief and getting to know all about you and your needs to help you create a beautiful home.

    Having studied graphic and media design and worked for 12 years as an art director, Lucy took a sabbatical to build her own home, and trained in interior decoration which was the start of a new love affair in the field of home, design and comfort.

    Lucy won't stop until you too are delighted with your home.

    Stuart is the numbers guy.

    He feigns interest in tiles and fabrics when we point out weave and colour details to him, but his eyes clear up when it comes to checking our quotes and making sure that everything is running smoothly.

    He is a ninja when it comes to purchasing, which makes the process of buying on your behalf a smooth process.
