JUNGLE Bedroom

Location: Versoix

A Playful Bedroom Designed Around Personality

For this family home in Geneva, we created a joyful, bespoke bedroom designed especially for a lively, high-energy child. Every element of the space was thoughtfully tailored to suit his personality and the way he loves to play, explore, and unwind.

Elevated Living Through Vertical Design

The room’s generous ceiling height inspired us to design a custom-built mezzanine — transforming the space vertically and adding a sense of adventure. A handcrafted wooden ladder leads up to a cozy lounging net, perfect for reading, relaxing, or simply daydreaming.

Light, Nature, and Timeless Materials

Above, a Velux window floods the room with natural light and fresh air, while heat-repelling blinds ensure year-round comfort. The jungle-themed wallpaper brings the room to life, adding a playful sense of discovery while keeping the palette light, fresh, and timeless. Natural wood tones, soft greens, and tactile materials create a warm, nurturing atmosphere — a space designed not only for rest and play, but to grow beautifully with the child over time.

Lucy provided an amazing service from start to finish of the renovations she managed for our office, and the bedrooms of our sons. She is incredibly creative and came up with brilliant ideas on how to use the space in the rooms to best fit our needs and also tailor them to the passions of our boys. The bedrooms have literally doubled in size and the boys play in them all of the time! Lucy is a pleasure to work with - she’s attentive to the brief and desire of the client (including young children :-)) and very diligent, summarizing status of the project, keeping us involved along way, coming up with new solutions and ideas if needed as the plans progresses. She also chose high quality trade companies to carry out the renovation and bring her ideas and plans to life. The result is three wonderful rooms that have been transformed and are a joy to spend time in! I would highly recommend LA Design and working with Lucy.
