Space Optimization & Layout Redesign

This Geneva residence underwent a thoughtful transformation to optimize both functionality and atmosphere. Originally, the clients were only using about 30% of the available space. Our redesign opened up and redefined the layout, enabling them to enjoy and inhabit the entire home seamlessly.

Architectural Interventions for Flexible Living

A key architectural intervention was the creation of a bespoke partition wall featuring a rotating television — a flexible solution that allows for dual use between living and dining areas. We also integrated a compact workstation near the kitchen, enabling the couple to stay connected while one works and the other cooks, enhancing both practicality and intimacy in daily life.

Color Palette Inspired by the Client

The client’s love for lavender tones inspired the overall palette. Subtle accents of lavender were introduced throughout the space, complemented by warm orange hints that harmonize with the client’s existing collection of orange pieces.

Bespoke Furniture & Sustainable Craftsmanship

All carpentry was custom-designed and crafted specifically for the project, with a conscious effort to reuse existing wood wherever possible. The dining table, rug, and cushions were bespoke creations, designed to tie the aesthetic together cohesively. We also reupholstered existing armchairs and incorporated two of the client’s cherished pieces — the iconic Eames Lounge Chair and the sculptural Bubble Sofa — blending personality with timeless design.

Lighting Design & Material Expression

Lighting played a crucial role in setting the mood and highlighting materiality. We selected statement fixtures from our favorite Italian suppliers, ensuring each space feels warm, sophisticated, and distinctly tailored.
